Watching it now...Elvis is a stock car driver, he drives a Hemi 66 or 67 charger and his co-star, Bill Bixby, drives a brand new 67 Fury convertible, red/red bench seat interior.

Oh, and Nancy Sinatra is in it too...........always a pleasure to see her. And Polara71 prob doesn't know Burt Mustin is in it.

I had it on the tube too......:popcorn:I love the cars in that movie!
I think that was David Pearson's number 6 car Hemi Charger.

Look for Tiny Lund. Winner of the 63 Daytona race. He was from the town I live in. He was killed in an accident at Taledega in 75.

After our conversation Mark I've never forgotten his name:thankyou:

Lot of brand Mopars in those Elvis movies. I scope out the cars almost as the females. Like the women the cars are well optioned too! Heck, i wanted to see more of that Monaco wagon but it got repo'd!

If the 59 caddy in the background is a convertible you'd be a real "Goober" not to take it too!

Dave, I am still trying to find the episode of Adam-12 that has Mustin driving the 70 Polara rag.........cannot remember his name in it but it was such a small part he may not have been credited either.

Hes supposed to be turning 75 in this episode, he kept saying its my birthday..The times sure have changed

interesting how the car is only a year old and the head rests are already gone..........I wonder if the car is gone too? Cannot have been but a few with that color and tilt wheel.

The headrests are gone for a reason and that is so they don't obstruct the cameras line of sight. You need the subject in the car to be seen
