No it's always around the middle of April but the club that puts it on is at the mercy of the City when it comes to reserving the park. Even though they have been reserving it for 25 years they still get put way down on the list for some reason.
Sounds like a nice event. I would like to go to a big California Mopar show after I'm permanently retired.

Just got back from Spring Fling. Had a great time as usual and I got to meet Carsten in person. It's nice to now be able to put a face with a name. Numbers were a little down due to the date being on Mothers day but it was still a good show. The CPW Club always does a great job putting it on. Now lets see how many of you I can meet at Carlisle this summer!

Usually the show is in mid April and the weather is great. This year due to park availability it was moved to mid May. It was HOT. 103 on Sunday. Normal temps should be high 70's. I felt like I was in Phoenix. Luckily I'm used to it so I was fine but the guys from like Washington were suffering. It was not humid so it was still better than the 85 degree 80% humidity days I grew up with in NY.

Nope, no comparision. 100 dgrees with low humidity is easy to deal with. It's hot but other than drinking more water It doesn't affect my level of activity. When I visit in NY and it's 85 and humid I am miserable. Granted I'm use to the desert heat but I'll take 100 and dry over hot and humid and cold and snowy anyday. Now when it gets over 115 here i'll admit that is HOT.
