I assume I can "extract" this seal (say, with an ice pick) without taking the unit apart? Similar to the transmission gear selector shaft seal?
I see rockauto has about a dozen options for this seal. Too bad it's not included in this kit:
I assume to put any of those o-rings to use, requires a bunch of special tools to take the gear unit apart?
