I have a working Sun Master motor tester, the unit was cleaned, case re painted and it all works, comes with all leads, and the exhaust hose and gun. Asking 1700 shipped to a fastenall store near you. Sorry no cabinet with this one. This needs a 6V battery to operate but will test 12Volt systems. Will get other pics. Have a lot of restored machines if looking for a particular one.

I wouldn't have a clue on how to useit let alone turn it on.
And I'm from that era. sheese.

I used to use these on a regular basis. Really impressed the customers.
Here is my "King Auto Tester" that was used in a Packard dealership in the mid/late 1930's.

Yep 'Mad Scientist' stuff to justify the high labor rate.
But unfortunately with all the computers on vehicles now... required.
I avoided most all of it by working on light trucks & construction equipment, but then PU's got ABS and I threw in the towel saying "I ain't buying anymore special tools".
Then there was the ASE certs, and some up an coming schoolie called me a 'Grease Monkey' and he was going to become a 'Tech' just like one of his relatives and make really big money.
Then the Fed's fined WyoTech and they shut down their scam.
Wonder how that 'Tech' thing is working for him now.
The Aviation school here is putting out 'Tech's' and they call into the radio talk shows complaining about having to spend 50k on tools to make $15.00hr start. HA!

:soapbox:
