Very original car.
Even the hose clamps!

I have one question, though, and be honest.
If you broke the piggy bank and bought this car for $30k+, would you take it to Home Depot and load up with a 1/2 dz. Sheets of drywall?

No...

Well, yeah....... I would, although I hate working with drywall. But I would be sure to lay down some protective canvas or something.

"I'll just chuck in an alternator so I don't have to polarize anything!"........ain't that easy, bubba

Chrysler introduced the alternator on all its cars in 1961. While that one on this wagon is a 1962 and later alternator, not a 1961 (the later ones had more support fins on the case than the early ones), it should have an alternator. I believe the Valiant had an alternator introduced in 1960, while the rest had generators.

I would absolutely use it to haul stuff except in the winter, I haul brakes, drums, and other truck parts with my Challenger.

No question, Station wagons are made for hauling. I used my two near mint 30k mile wagons for part of the moving, not worth 30k together even, but I wouldn't care. All covered up for protection though and the engine blocks went with a ratty van I lent from a friend.

Very nice, I won't be able to think about anything else for the rest of the day :happy8:
