I am John Hungerford and just purchased my "retirement toy, a 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. Its already in excellent shape but to make it " Mine " I want to make a few modifications . Wheels, I am thinking old school Cragers but with gray spokes or something similar. and new headers and dual exhaust with either an X pipe or H pipe crossover with turbo mufflers. (I don't think the community would appreciate glass packs! :)
On the wheels, what are the larget that can be installed without rubbing or giving issues with the stock ride height?
I have owned other Mopars years ago and as a kid, did not know what I had. I had a 1969 Dodge Charger 500 (yes, a real 500!) That I bought in 1975. Sold it as I was in the USN and could not afford the fuel bill! Also had a 67 Cornet back in the late 60s and a number of Dodge trucks since. My daily are a 2017 Tacoma TRD off-road and a 2018 Subaru Outback. I sold a Triumph Speedmaster last year as there are too many crazies on the road today..my bike days are done for me besides, I have that wonderful Convertible to drive around now,
Thanks for reading.
