I am John Hungerford and just purchased my "retirement toy, a 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. Its already in excellent shape but to make it " Mine " I want to make a few modifications . Wheels, I am thinking old school Cragers but with gray spokes or something similar. and new headers and dual exhaust with either an X pipe or H pipe crossover with turbo mufflers. (I don't think the community would appreciate glass packs!
On the wheels, what are the larget that can be installed without rubbing or giving issues with the stock ride height?
I have owned other Mopars years ago and as a kid, did not know what I had. I had a 1969 Dodge Charger 500 (yes, a real 500!) That I bought in 1975. Sold it as I was in the USN and could not afford the fuel bill! Also had a 67 Cornet back in the late 60s and a number of Dodge trucks since. My daily are a 2017 Tacoma TRD off-road and a 2018 Subaru Outback. I sold a Triumph Speedmaster last year as there are too many crazies on the road today..my bike days are done for me besides, I have that wonderful Convertible to drive around now,
