Probably not what some of you guys thought from reading the title...

finally managed to source both a left and a right NOS tail light assembly for the '65.

Congrats, those are beautiful. I know the great feeling since I finally scored some perfect used taillights for my Polara.

After my initial disappointment I noticed that they are a pair of very excellent tail lights. Great score!!!

Wow ! Very nice ! There's nothing like NOS. I just need to get a car that those fit. If you need somebody to "store" those for you just let me know. :waiting:

A very nice pair! The condition of those will make them stand out quite nicely, good score.

One year only stuff is such a pain. And pot metal to boot. It's such a relief, my originals were absolutely horrible. It's like a big weight has been lifted. Now onto some trunk trim. LOL

Those are gonna really set you car off ... Congrats Catfish.

How about you honor us with a few photo's of the ride now

I have nothing new to post on it. Still at the shop. How many years has it been there now? LOL. I was hoping to pick it up the end of this month, but it's looking more like next month.

I just checked out the photo album buddy .. nice. Break her out of prison man!

Believe me, it's not for a lack of want on my part.....or an obscene amount of money spent. The shop is slllloooooowwwwwww............

Sweet find, something I don't think I will ever experience for my 300's taillights. If they exist I could probably rebuild the engine for what they would want for them. I feel great for you though.

I had to buy 3 trunk trim panels before I got one I could live with for my Monaco. It isn't perfect but it looks like a good candidate for a re-chrome, unlike the other 2. I had absolutely no luck finding an NOS piece, and probably would of had to sell a kidney if I had.
Oh, and is this the trim panel you mentioned??? :icon_wink:

My mistake, I didn't realize this trim is for the Custom 880, I thought it was for a Polara. It was on my Monaco up until a couple months ago, until I found a keeper Monaco panel.
