Binkerts in Rosedale has what you're looking for. The German consulate drives up from DC once a week to shop there. They have weird hours and days that they're open. But my wife's family from ND said it was the closest thing to home they had ever had since leaving. Just a short trip down 95 for you maybe 25 minutes.

I know nick over there means swipe, but to most of us here, a nick by any meaning would be death.

There are many events in Wisconsin that has Brats...several grocery stores have fund raisers every week sell already cooked brats fresh. There is a super good Meat processor in little Brandon Wi. It is called Brandon Meats. They funded a redo of a park including a food stand that has local non profit groups sell their brats every Saturday and will start soon. The brats are 8" long and superior quality. Many cars shows will have their products cooked fresh. This is making me hungry. Many times people use precooked brats/burgers and put them into their favorite beer with onions in their Nesco roaster for hours or overnight. Don't forget saurkraut, pickle relish catchup and mustard. Another meat processor in Horicon WI. has the best home made American potato salad wth eggs, onion and celery. For me the Potato salad is more important than the main meat dish. Making real good potato salad is more effort than cooking the main course meat
