This is the last Plymouth ever made, and it could be yours | Hagerty Media

2001 Plymouth Neon LX Chassis - 1P3AS46C61D304662 with 68 miles on the clock.

CURRENT BID: $14,850 ENDS IN: 5 days

BaT Description
This 2001 Plymouth Neon LX is the last Plymouth-branded vehicle built by DaimlerChrysler and was custom-ordered by the seller, who drove it off of the assembly line before it was delivered to Massey Motors of Daytona Beach, Florida. The car is finished in silver over a black leather interior and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Factory equipment includes a power sunroof, woodgrain trim, an in-dash CD changer, and cruise control. Now showing 68 miles, this Neon is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, window stickers, brochures, assembly paperwork, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

Don't look at it as the last Neon, look at it as the last Plymouth...

The Neon lasted longer under the Dodge name didn't it?

Last Plymouth period. The very first Plymouth exists in a collection in Ohio, IIRC. It would be cool to have the very first and very last.

I never owned one but I understand they are great handling cars and very fun to drive.

There are three that park near me at CTC, almost 20 years after they were new. Most of the dislike comes from people regurgitating something they read on the Internet, originally written by an America-last type.

So did Mercury.

According to the internet, the last Mercury was a Grand Marquis. If I had a gun to my head I'd take a badge engineered Crown Vic over an Alero or Neon.

I had a college housemate years ago, named Jackie (her nickname was "Rackie") who drove a Neon, with a pink latex brush-on paint job. That car ruined Neons for me for life, haha.

Neons were the last easy to work on Chrysler products. Great cars for kids to learn how to fix stuff. You don't need a day and a half of just removing front end facia and suspension support brackets just to change a valve cover gasket.
I'd beat it.

I had an ACR Plymouth Neon. Loved it. Handled like a freaking slot car. Here's my oldest son on the autocross and note the light under the right rear... Yea...

And since it was mentioned, just sold my Grand Marquis last month. I already miss it. Sold it in a day and got a good buck for it.

You could have simply used your thumb to cover the plate. :poke:
Mrs. Big John did that for the Facebook sales page (which btw, is where it sold).

I was gonna use my thumb, because that's where my photo editing skillz top out, but she took the pics.
