Windshield Removal Video, FINALLY!
Austin from Obsolete Automotive (YouTube), has uploaded a video that gives us all a nice close up view of how to safely remove the windshield from any late 1950s, early 1960s Mopar, Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Imperial, Forward Look Virgil Exner vintage car. The title of the video is "How to Remove a Windshield: 1957-1961 Mopar. Plymouth Dodge DeSoto Chrysler Forward Look 880". I have put the link below. This is not the daunting or risky procedure some say it is, and it shows how and why the gasket is easily preserved for re-use. Some of you may already know how this is done, but as far as I know this might actually be the only complete up-close and personal demonstration of this type of windshield gasket available anywhere online, or anywhere on earth. Cheers to Austin! Let's hope he does an install video too. Share with all your Mopar buddies. Pretty sure this has never been shown on video before!
