Something I'm good at. I got a little Frank Sanatra in me. So I got this roller rocker on "The BEAST" that would not stay adjusted correctly for more than 3 or 4 passes. Guess it's worn out. I decided to put some blue locktite on it just to see if that would work. Ofcourse I got the usual naysayers. Did it anyway. Valve cover has not been off in 4 races. 23 full throttle passes. Only did that one. Any of you guys done this. Am i mad ? LoL

I thought you were supposed to do that..... I love blue Loctite.

Then you'll love the green one even more. ;)

But the green one is harder to find. I can't find it in any stores around here so have to buy it online. It's supposed to have better "wicking action".

One thing I wanted the green for was to use on my throttle plate screws, but I ended up using blue. :dontknow:

Loctite is great stuff.

Red and green are harder to take apart, but I found that a bit of heat will do wonders. In one of my old jobs, I had to take a radar mount apart that was assembled with red Loctite. Lots and lots of small allen head bolts. I discovered I could heat it with a propane torch and everything came apart cleanly with minimal effort.
