My 65 fury III is ready for tires and wheels, I’am not running fender skirts also I installed new leaf springs and I think that give me a little more height? I will post the tire and wheel combo I want on it. If someone knows if this fits please let me know, thanks.

Might I suggest to stay away from the 245/60. They are too short a tire (that will be even more noticeable with a slightly raised rear and no skirts), and far harsher than a 235/70. BTDT. The 235/70 fills the opening better. These are on a 7" wheel. Here's a comparison...

And why the love for these now overpriced BFG tires. They just are NOT that good to be worth the price. You can by other radial lettered tires for about $100 each. Depending on size.

Hey 300 Rag thanks for your input , it’s hard to tell the difference with the skirts but it looks like it fills it in better.

That wheel also appears to be a uni-lug. You should stick with a dedicated bolt circle wheel.

I'm fine with their Made in the USA price.
Go buy an N95 mask these days...

Mask? WTF ,don't you know it's a Democratic HOAX MAN!!! By Easter it will be gone, we will all be back at work and it will fade away!! Ohh it's May,,,,sorry. Is there a test anywhere if I'm not about to expire but feel like ****? Let me know,,,,,,,,
BFG's I have but put the LOGO inwards, cause I'm no Billboard for anyone but Plymouth.

Hi 300 Rag , I like the looks of your 235/70r15 what are you running on the front ? Also if I go with a narrower tire on front would it be smart to go with 7” front and rear ? I think I will go with the direct drill hole rims . Thanks for your advice.

Also 235/70-15. I'm a believer in the same tire on all four corners.

Those 235/70s look great. A couple questions:
What are your wheel specs? 15x7? What back spacing/offset?
Are you running disk brakes up front? Do those wheels clear them?

Thanks,
Jamie

Looks great,, what a car!
I vary somewhat from that statement. I like all 4 tires the same diameter but different sizes front to back ,at least on this car that is what I prefer. The vert above I like that all 4 are the same.
I run BFG 235/70/15's in front on 15/7 rims and in the back 275/60/15's on 15/8 rims. They both have the same diameter [28 inches in diameter] but obviously different widths. All four steel wheels are OEM reproductions from Wheel Vintiques.

Those are 15x7. They are 3.75 BS from what I recall, but that was in '06 that I bought them. It's an all drum car, so not sure about clearance for discs.

I just like all the same for rotation/wear purposes. Probably not a concern for this car, but old habits die hard.

Have you guys scroled through this thread for some ideas?? 113 pages of ideas.
This thread reminds me of the old classic movie,
THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY
C-Body Wheel and Tire Survey
