Titles confusing

Changes were made awhile back that I think are confusing.

Forum title lines have titles always bold with the avatar bold if unread posts are contained. If the posts are all read, the Forum titled avatar switches to not bold.

Threads within the forum behave in reverse with avatar's never bold, unread threads have bold titles.

I don't care what the avatar looks like, my eyes search for bold titles to read and the Forum always bold titles get me every time!!

Bill, just curious to see what you mean. Can you do a screenshot?

I never go to the home page. My bookmark for FCBO takes me to all new posts, so I never noticed that. Here's what I use

That works but it shows every new post from all forums. A lot of those forums I haven't been following. I'll try your approach for awhile and give it a test ride.

I find it easy to skim all the new threads/replies and only look at the ones of interest. The only time I have an issue, is when I occasionally forget to mark all forums read before closing the page. Then all those unread ones show up again next time.

I was going to that page, but discovered that the site has an RSS feed of new posts. So now I just use my RSS client to inform me about new posts. Firefox had a built-in RSS client until recently. Now I am using Feeder, which is an RSSclient plugin for Firefox.
