That's why I always tried to go to Ramchargers, and others seminars at Carlisle, good stories if they/he didn't get you at least thinking. Sad to hear.
I met Tom Hoover twice. Once in the eighties when he was still at Chrysler and once after he retired. He was one of those guys that amazed me with the knowledge he had about just about everything. He was a very intelligent, down to earth man with a lot of common sense.
I've met Tom about once a decade since the 1980's. I was pretty awestruck every time just listening to what he had to say. I wish I could of worked with him at Chrysler...
he created the The little red express which was a genius idea in 78 to do that and if I am not mistaken he mite of had a hand in the 340 which is just awesome they are such a engine!
