Pretty car and yes, I think the vin tag should not be painted.

it really annoys me when they post a million pics of everything exc the undercarriage. His BIN was over 12K on the first auction, I'm guessing maybe it hits 6K on this? what do you guys think?

Lol, imagine that!!!

Why is it..it seems anyways, there are tons more slab "survivor" cars than the forward look.....and DEFINITELY fuselage cars. More of them made than the others? Seems that way to me.

The Forward Look cars were very rust prone even by the standards of the day, production numbers in general took a good dive after the first year because of the quality problems it seems.

Idk.. She still has almost 5 days to go. But you never know.

Just noticed its in FL too! Can go, and bring her back in a few hours time.

Looks like a respray to me. Shouldn't the VIN tag be bare metal? It was/is on my '65.

Yes my '66 is a bare metal and still is after my new paint. I never get missing little details like that, it took me 1 minute to tape.

Nice car but has too many in-consistency's to be a survivor as described.

Typical 47 year old engine compartment dose not look like this. Also white painted hood latch, spring, and hood adjuster.

Flakey 47 year chrome badge, inconsistent with the shiny new paint.

Still nice car though and I would love to have it. Should not have been described as original survivor and unrestored condition.

The problem with ebay is that you can't rely on that logic becuase in the last minute of the auction the price will jump 1,500 dollars alone!

The car looks decent and being a southern vehicle is likely fairly solid. It shouldn't be safetied with that rubber.

This car isn't going anywhere except for being pulled 24 hrs. before the auction ends because the seller is getting nervous.

US $1,297.22
