Just went to visit a family friend in Windsor yesterday and it was a perfect day for a convertible so...

Well over 3,000 miles on that car this season, big fun and great memories. Hagerty did a video feature on my dad, myself and this car last month. It's supposed to be published on YouTube in the near future and linked to their website.

It consisted of about a 10 minute interview in front of the car with myself and my 80 year old dad followed by a ride along where we followed a camera vehicle and then they followed us and lastly some drive by video. Who knows how long it will be edited down to but it was great fun for us both and I can't wait to see how it turned out. I'll let you know when it's published.

That's great looking forward to seeing it when it comes out. Great shot, by the way, from Windsor looking back to Detroit.

It does look good but you have to remember that that's the heart of downtown, the other 95% of the city is largely in a shambles with the exception of a few bright spots. Here's another shot.

Thanks Matt....... I'm flashing back to "The day". Crossing over the Ambassidor bridge to get "the good" Canadian beer.
Used to go to the brewers retail with a American $20.00 bill..... Get a case of Molsons eXtra stock..... and get a Canadian $20.00 in change.

It's sad how all the publicity about Detroit is focused on the blight there. I was there in August and went down town.... spent some time at the Art Institute and down Woodward to the Hart Plaza and riverfront. Downtown was jumping with festivals in the Plaza... folks hanging out enjoying the nice weather.... wedding partys posing for pictures at the Joe Lewis "arm".
I hope Detroit can find it's leggs and make a turn around..... It really is a great place as far as cities go. So much to see and do...... and so much history.

Wow, that is a great looking E. That's the way to enjoy these cars, not surrounded by velvet rope, on two wheels with a mirror stuck under its privates. My C is still a ways off, but I'm planning a 6,000 mile cruse when it's done.

Thanks guys! The drinking age is 19 in Canada and when I turned 19 it was 21 here in the states. Needless to say my friends and I became very familiar with the streets of Windsor. We drank a lot of those Molson Xs Will.

I did see some urban blight when I visited Matt.........but you know what? It's still the Motor City!!! It was so cool to get the "Grand Tour" with Matt...Chrysler Museum, Woodward Avenue, Hamtramck and 8 mile Road! Drove past a lot of historical places! What a great time!!!

It was so cool!

Can't wait to see the you tube video......
