Turkey run...daytona beach

I got my 2013 Turkey Run registration comformation in the mail.
November 28-30th. In Daytona Beach.

Great show and swap at the Daytona speedway during the day..... and great cruising on Atlantic blvd every night.

You can spend Thanksgiving arguing with loud family and relatives.....
Or spend it with a bunch of car people...... DUH....

Us too...... We meet up with a bunch from Palm Beach every year and cook a Thanksgiving supper in the motel parking lot on the beach......
Two deep fried turkeys..... Honey ham...... all the fixins and home made pies...... It's a blast....!

I'd be an idiot not to make the Turkey Run this year. Maybe I can actually squeeze in an overnight without the Earth tilting off its axis.

You only need to register if you're a vendor or in the car coral, right?

Yeah....I've been going for over 25 years; all I've ever done is pay at the gate.

You can buy daily passes when you arrive.... I think at $10/15.00. We attend all 3 days so save a little money by pre-registering and don't have to mess with the registration process every morning.... Just drive right in.

It's not really a show..... There is no classes or judging, or awards passed out. They do give a car away, and a boat load of door prizes including some kind of crate engine.

The show is only a part of it though. The real fun is down on A1A in the evenings. Four lanes of cruising all evening and mini car show at every public parking lot along the way. There is normally 3-400 cars in the Bel-Air mall alone.
