Both of these are definitely worth saving. Both look to be straight, rock solid west coast cars.

Number one is a buckets & console car with power vents, in silver and black. Need I say more?

Rare. For rehab or parts. Two owner. No accidents, straight body. Call to see. 916 212 8948

Number two is Turbine Bronze, which is quite rare and attractive for a '66 New Yorker. Appears to be well optioned, though can't tell if it's buckets or bench.

I like to call them a hdtp when there’s no B-pillar, I don’t know if that’s right but...
I do like both of these very much though and hope the find a loving home.

That would look good redone in black

What little paint is on that grey would be stripped off anf if i were taking the time to do that it would go black. Black interior black paint very nice
I'd like to see the fender tag on this. Mine was faded like this one and looked more silver than it was. The side shot looks more green to me. I'm guessing green because silver was so rare. If it was silver the rarity is one more reason to keep it original.

Here’s what the silver would look like with a little shine put to it.

Hey Matt, did you notice power vents?
I sure did!
The ‘65s aren’t my favorite though, the front ends got so much better for the rest of the slabby era imo..

If I remember correctly, you said that this is actually the '05-up Ford Mustang green? Though it is really close to the original Chrysler color.

Jeff
Ok, if you want to be that accurate I will change that sentence to "a color that looks like the original color" And while on the subject a lot of our original colors do not have formulas anymore in all brand and lines of paint. That means some amount of creativity is necessary when selecting a color. And if you do find a formula for your color since the toners are all different than they were when they had all the metals in them it may not be a perfect match. This is especially true with metallics. The upside is new colors are more brilliant and have more of a wow factor. And I will add that my car has a whole lot more shine and depth than it did from the factory. For that I'm not apologizing.

I wasn't criticizing. I was just trying to remember if it was the Ford color for future reference, if I wan't to paint something in the light green.

Anyone using Dupont paint has been getting approximate colors for decades when it comes to old Chryslers. Often they look nicer than the actual mix. Of course, any fresh paint, especially metallics with a clear coat, will look way nicer than the factory paint ever did.

Here is a picture of a spray out I did when trying to decide which paint brand to use on a 71 B5 Challenger. One half is Ppg's formula and the other is Dupont's. Same color with totally different shades. I went with the Dupont because it was closest.

I'm surprised. PPG is supposed to be spot on, since they were the original supplier to Chrysler. Maybe the paint shop messed up. There were two versions of B5, and I think '71 was the transition year for the darker mix.

Most people I know have switched to Matrix. The company was founded by a former PPG engineer/chemist. They say it sprays similar to the old Deltron, which I really liked.

I agree that usually PPG is the better match however the two exceptions for me have been B5 blue and F8 green.
