u joint driveshaft replacement

Is there an alternative to this? Could I Lengthen the drive shaft and pair tranny yokes? I cant find a replacement anywhere other then ebay and this is a little expensive? Any help would be appreciated?

That's cause the 65 had the ball, and trunion setup.

Is yours bad they are kind of like the inner c.v. joint on a front drive car if the boot is not ripped for a long period (contaminating the grease ) they usually don't go bad, or lots of abuse. Sure you can't just clean and regrease with new boot only.

Not sure if its bad, I know the boot is ripped. I will be taking the tranny out soon so I figure I should replace or repair since I have to pull it apart.

Thanks, I will have to call because I don't see a 64 dodge on the list. I assume not much has changed between the 62 and 64.
