And in Lakeland!!!

That's the Super Scumbag I've ranted about a few times in the past.
I'm not about to start again on why.
I will never buy a car off of him.
You guys have short memories.

(FWIW, he starts his bidding at 50% of his reserve and they reek of Armorall and Krylon from a mile away. He Photoshops AND lies his *** off.)

Same guy was selling a purple 74 Challenger "R/T" "frame off restoration".

I called him on the "6" in the VIN being a"G" and that it was not an "R/T", or Rallye, but a 318 car, and he told me he had been dealing with VINs for over 20 years and that there was no way to tell what original engine was in the car until the late 1980's

I do love that dash and all those switches, knobs and access panels!

Believe it or not, there's another one of those about 5 miles from this one, not as shiny, but more of a survivor.
White/ Blue int with a few nickel sized rust holes in teh quarters, but relatively straight and complete.
Was at Zepherhills for $2,000, but didn't sell.

All I can say is that the only question I have based upon the photos is about the seat upholstery - the dark fabric looks newer than 1967 style fabric. But other than that I see nothing that would scare me off. This looks very nice.

My glance makes me strongly believe the carpeting is replacement. The thing that really stood out for me was the rust visible on the steering column around the openings for the turn signal and shift levers plus the the joint where the wheel housing and column meet. Strikes me as odd that there would be the orange-red color of rust on the inside based on what he said. Plus I have never like adds where it seems like it is screaming at you in words chosen and print size. Makes me suspicious.

I'd say that discoloration on the steering column isn't rust, it's grease but the carpeting has definitely been replaced.
Notice the same discoloration on my steering column, it must be tilt tele grease.

But it's no `67 Imperial, sorry Stan.
