I am seeking the collective wisdom here. I have a pretty nasty 73 Imperial that has been leaking power steering fluid from the steering box for quite a while. I would like to clean the underside of the engine and stub frame. I have a steam cleaner and a two post lift in my shop withouth a floor drain. I prefer not making a mess in my shop. I also have a 5,000 lb. forklift and a fairly large skid steer (85 hp and about 12,000 lbs.). I can pull the car out on my concrete apron. (I have some ideas, but...)
What would you do?

Put the car on the lift. Get a roll of heavy duty poly. Make a dam with 2x4’s, sand tubes or whatever you have laying around or bring the poly up to the sides of your car and across the floor, creating a little room under your car and splatter proofing your garage. If you have enough plastic and the edges damed up it should run out your door. That way you will be the only thing that gets dirty.

That's what I would do(If I had a lift).
Poly the sides and make a room.

The little room sounds like a good idea, I have an addition.
I would make a water reclamation/containment mat out of the Poly right under the Imperial, basically a mat with raised edges to contain the gunk.
