There really was no competing with Mopar fans for the top spot in this hate-a-thon, because they've got a one-two-punch of terrible. First, there are the Neon/SRT4 fans. We could forgive the bad paintjobs, loud exhausts, and painful bodykits, but we can't excuse the snobby attitude, especially when the stakes are so low in bargain sports compacts. What really pulls the Mopar fans into the lead are the fabulously inane muscle car heads out there. From the more money than taste million dollar ‘Cuda crowd to the everyday numbers-matching pedant, nobody pisses on your breakfast cereal like a Mopar fan. It's your kind of devotion that gives the world some of the most committed, passionate gearheads out there, but please, baby Jesus, if you stop telling me about the ram air effect on your Dodge Polara, I swear I'll do anything you want.

The Batwagon took two of seven trophyz awarded in the same show 'bout 4-5 yearz ago, and yes it waz ah real atta boy stroke to be sure, but while I waz walking back after receiving the 2nd one I stopped to admire ah knock out beautiful '68 black Charger and complement the guy that waz sitting there in hiz lawn chair. After I paid the complement he looked at me and the trophy I had in my hand and ask me if that old Chrysler Wagon waz mine and when I said yes he went off on me. After hiz rant which I politely listened to, I ask him if he would like the trophy I held out to him in my hand and then when he really started ranted even louder then before I just walked off laughing. FYI for those that don't know me I'll say I'd really rather feel that warm fuzzy feeling we all get from ah thumbz up then something that sitz there, takez up space, 'N collectz dust, Jer

It says so on the window sticker, but I know what you're talking about.

PT Cruisers, Neons, Metric Challengers, Rams, WTF..........
That ain't Mopar in my book.

Since you have no brand loyalty, no one would expect you to think otherwise.
You are correct. I do not bleed Moparts like you do.
My horizons are much more expansive than yours.
My love for Automobilia is far too great to be as limited as yours.

I don't know a stock srt4 would put most of us to shame in the !/4 and IMO those cars were doing a lot for the brand with the younger crowd, that is until some brain trust at Daimler got a great idea to make it a $hitbox caliber that nobody wanted to drive and even if you do see one it blends into a sea of $hitboxes. So where did all those youngsters go that had a neon, maybe some made the jump to a Charger if the time was right in their life but to move up to a Charger is a $15000 jump that most 20 somethings can't swing. Hell I have a 95 neon its a great little car gets easy high twenties for mpg pulls a utility trailer with a 440 and trans in it and handles like a go cart, I like the car so much I'm going to treat it to a rustoleum paint job with a stripe this summer.

I merely define MOPAR a lot differently than you do because of our age differences. Mopar died when the BB died. Everything after that was Chrysler Corporation.
