I am looking to change the door panel colors on my 69 fury from a tan with brown to red with black. Just wonder if any of you have any good products to try? The panels are nice and do not want to mess them up with a crappy product. Thanks!

I have been looking at these myself as I will be freshening up my 69 Sport Fury sometime in the future.
Some of the other folks around here may have some first hand info on what they used and may very well chime to you as well and give you some first hand input.

This is good to see. I've done interior restorations many years ago using interior paint with very good results.

I wonder if I can repair arm rests... all of mine are starting to split..

I have found SEM vinyl sprays are the best after trying Dupli-Color, VHS and Krylon. And SEM has better color selections last time I looked. They don't wear off as easily as the others I have tried.

For splitting vinyl arm rests, one option might be to look over what Bob Baker has at

I've sprayed the SEM and it came out great. Follow the directions to the letter and use their products all the way through and you'll be happy.

I'm going to be needing to do my door panels soon so this is nice to know.

Green to grey.

x3 on SEM Dyed the dash and all other plastics in the car. By far the closest color to original, very happy. The back panel was actually a replacement out of a blue 300. Matched perfect with everything else.
