Someone on FB claims to have "stumbled" on a closed Chrysler Plymouth dealership (or the parts stash from said dealer) that was in business in the 60's through early 2000.

"They have tons of glass, sheetmetal, suspension parts, electrical parts, trim, clips for trim, A/C lines, fan shroulds, bumpers, etc. lots of NOS, some rebuilt. It’s in mid Michigan. I found a 68 date coded windshield for a fastop car, tinted. The guy that I dealt with said there were 3 more warehouses like it! He has parts books form most cars and shelves are numbered to make finding parts easier."

The guy saying this has been on FB since 2017 and updated his FB cover photo in Feb. to a '68 Fury 2-dr (white / black top). But his page has no info about him. He has just 3 posts in a C-body FB group, one in 2017 and another in 2022 then this post about warehouses of NOS dealer parts a day ago. The 2022 post indicates that he's "just north of Lapeer Michigan".

His post sparked a long thread, another guy jumps in saying "Is that the place in or near Charlotte Michigan? If so there has been a guy named Josh selling lots of MoPar parts on several FB groups and on eBay". Further on this guy says the guy with the parts is "JG Consultation and Factotum". I looked this up, seems to be an Estate Liquidator in south-central Michigan, but no website.

So is this legit? Guy acquires several warehouses of NOS mopar but has no organized / efficient way of unloading it? Or is this old news and there's nothing left at this point?

He is helping a closed down Chrysler dealer sell off all of their old inventory. Its legit, I would imagine most of the good stuff is gone already. You never know what an old dealer still has in NOS inventory.

I’ve been to the Charlotte dealership and bought 2 NOS impossible to find fusey windshields from him. The guy selling off the inventory is not a car guy and looks to eBay for pricing.Very unorganized inventory ,if you think your gonna buy everything for a great price it isn’t gonna happen.Lots of stuff not in boxes,it’s gonna takes years for him to move everything the way he is going about selling things.

It’s legit. Ive bought once from him and plan on making my way out there soon.

For those who have experience with this seller, is there a link or ? From the original post, it’s all left up to the student and we cheat here!

So this guy bought the dealership property? 10 or 20 years ago? And he's paying property tax on it? And maybe some warehouses too? Insurance and mortgage costs? All that just to babysit old NOS inventory and selling it off at a snail's pace?

Chrysler revoked the franchise of over 700 dealerships in 2009 - 2010. On that list was a place called Beacon Sales, Charlotte, Mi 48813-8402. They are apparently still in business:

1285 LANSING RD
Charlotte, MI 48813

Is this the place?

According to the internet archive, their website had a parts/inventory search page that was up from Sept 2020 to Dec 2021. That page just gives 404 now. So maybe they've offloaded their NOS stock to someone else? The JG liquidator guy?

Story I got,the guy selling inventory was hired by original owners son who is still running the place. The body shop closed and that’s where all the parts are with no computer inventory at all. Lots of good stuff I’m sure but most nos old parts we would want are not packaged/boxed and organized. He had a bunch of nos wheel well trims but no way to id.Lots of cool factory signage but he wants very high retail pricing on that stuff.

I've made contact with the guy with the NOS stuff, I've asked only about '67 polara/monaco stuff, he got back to me with a circuit board for the left or right instrument cluster (2771388) with a price of $150 which is way out of line (I can get a small run of PC boards made for that price). He's checking for more stuff.

If anyone wants to make direct contact, his electronic mail is jgcfmovesinventory at outlook dot com or go through fecebook.
