Washer Bottle Question for 72 Newport

My question is where did the windscreen washer bottle go within the engine bay and where on the loom should i find the wiring for it. As mine doesn't have any washer bottle what so ever and I cant seem to find any plugs in the wiring for it.

I'm pretty sure it would be in the fender behind the headlights next to the battery.

I stripped a 72 Newport and yes it goes on the drivers inner fender, the holes will be there, do you have a bottle?

I agree with both of these guys. It's most likely going to be a single wire plug. The pump will have a wire that grounds it to the body through the mounting screw on the tank.

I have no bottle not sure about plug or lead but now at least I know where to start searching
If I cant source an original bottle locally I can fit a universal one to get me buy

Jono, I have an original one that is in good condition, the lid has a crack in it that can be repaired but overall still can be used and it is out of a 1972 Newport, $20 plus shipping.

Sorry, it isn't correct for any 1970 through 1973 C body. Here is the correct one (first photo is from my 1972 Monaco, and the second photo is my 1971 Polara Brougham). It is the only correct washer bottle for any 70-73 C body (and good ones, much less NOS ones, are very hard to find):

I did some checking around and found out mine is out of a 73-74 B-body.

If you can't find the wire let me know. I just stripped some parts from a 72 this fall at a salvage yard near me. That one had the correct bottle. Unfortunately it had a split in the side. I know the wire harness is intact and I can get it for you. I found a new old stock bottle but had to pay dearly for it for my Hurst. I would find an earlier version or the one Wolfen has if you are not concerned about 100% correctness.

I found the wire got a little confused as was looking on the wrong side of the car all good fitted a universal washer bottle and she works like a charm
