Hello Joey ! And hello FCBO memebers !
I was just told about your wonderful page by a fellow C body owner from face book . I wish I knew about this page years ago !.
We? my husband and I are about to go pick up a 66 monco 500 our dream car - elenore if you know the reference haha and I am sure you do haha .
My husband bought a 66 Monaco 500 hard top 440 car at 15 and unfortunately the car had been in a bad wreck but still savable . Found out latter the damage was much worse than previously thought .
Fast forward to our 20's my husband had become pretty bumbed out about the car and I came along haha . I pulled all the carpet out and found a good bit of water standing in the floor - I removed all glass-interior- seats -dash- door panels - anything we could save . 6 years latter we removed all savable panels IE doors -fenders-quarters -hood- trunk and scraped the car.
My husband and I have bought two more cars since we scraped the moncao and taken everything off the car that is savable and moved on and continued hunting for a new monaco . That being said we found one ! and go to pick it up in a few weeks . the new monaco owner has been doing the exact same as far as parts hoarding goes and looks like we wont need a thing when we get this car haha .
So we have quite a stash of Polara parts that I would like to sell to make room for all the gooodies the new monaco is coming with. plus im sure that somone out there is having the same issue we did to find parts . I feel its almost unfair for us to hold on to the parts we dont need haha .
