Parents owned a blue 1972 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron when I was a youngster. Have had a fondness for them ever since

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Thank you all for the welcoming. I hope to learn a bunch of info on these great cars, so I can make an educated decision when it comes time to choose my 1st fuselage purchase next Spring. In the past I've become very familiar with Chrysler's turbo cars of the 80's and 90's, one of the vehicles I'm using now is an 87 Town & Country turbowagon.

I'm 48 years old, am blessed with a very supportive wife, two adult sons, and three pre-teen daughters. We are leaning towards finding a nice station wagon to comfortably fit us all for summer cruising and vacation trips.

BTW the screen name BLIMP was a spur of the moment thought, combining the words "blue" and "Imperial"

Thanks, and I hope to meet some new friends here!

You're probably too young to know the "I'll gladly pay you on Tuesday for a burger today" line, but with the user name you chose it's likely I'll not be the only one to bring it up...... From the old Popeye comics, meet Blimpie.

I'm a spring chicken at 42, but I watched that show like kids watch SpongeBob today. I use that line at work, and yes, sadly anyone younger than me doesn't get it. I remember Rocky & Bullwinkle, Underdog, Popeye, and a host of the older cartoons.
