Just picked up a 1970 Chrysler Town & Country with a 383. Here to learn and find some parts.

Welcome from Germany! Good looking Town & Country! What's the story behind it? Were you looking for one?

Originally was dead set on getting an early 80's caprice Wagon since my dad had 3 growing up and they brought back some great memories. After finding countless ones with beyond repair rot (Northeast Massachusetts plague) I decided to expand my search. Found this in NH and from what I can tell it was a one owner and lived in Mass for most of its life, but the guy took great care of it. Ended up sitting in a barn for the past 10 years. It does need some sub frame patching and some lower panel body work but nothing catastrophic. Runs and drives great as is.

Kinda unusual for a '70 T&C to be powered by a 383, But welcome just the same. What partz are you chasing? We need a list 'cuz you have no idea the gold mine you've stumbled on to by joining this Mottly Crew. BTW, iz that a 300Z being towed by your new Long Roof? Kinda hard to tell from the angle and distance. I have a good friend in Michigan that's stuffed 350s in both 280Z & 300Zs. Scary fast but way fun, Jer

Is it unusual? Fender tag says it came from the factory like that. As of right now interior plastic that goes on the passenger D pillar, spare tire cover (I know these are hard to come by) and a factory clock haha. That's a 76 Datsun 280z that me and 4 guys built for the 24 hours of Lemons endurance race series. Still has the original (slightly modified) inline 6 NA motor. She's not the fastest but she gets the job done.

Thought it looked familiar, THANKS. Yes some what unusual for a 383 to come from the factory in a '70 T&C. Standard engine that year waz the 440 375 HP motor for the T&C. I suspect it waz ordered that way 'tho. No big deal, Nice Long Roof either way. P.M. me when you're ready to spend $. I don't have your Partz but I think I know where you can find them, Jer
