Welcome, LongLeBaron

Thank you very kindly! I'm happy to be here.

I've lurked about here a bit before, picking up information and watching the for-sale ads. I knew I wanted an Imperial--it's been on my bucket list for years, and I shopped a lot of them. But it was just last week that I ran across the right one--a '75 LeBaron 4-door.

It checked quite a few boxes for me--dark red interior, road wheels, low miles, and really exceptional condition everywhere. Most everything works, even the A/C, and that was important too. (I've had, and had enough of, project cars that remain projects forever.) I got it from a dealer and I can't swear the mileage is accurate, but it looks like it. I got a car cover in the trunk, too, which helped convince me that the previous owner(s) really took care of it.

So at this point I'm poking around everywhere, learning the car kind of by touch, and I'll probably have some questions to post when I get further into it.

Re: my screen name. I know this generation is not quite as long as the previous one, but still I thought 231.1" was close enough to qualify! :)

Fantastic Imperial. It looks to be as new as new. Where did you find your Imperial?
