Hey guys! Thank you for the welcome. I am coming to you, the experts. I have found a 78 NYB black 4 door grey velour. 1owner, she passed at 93. 44 K miles, no auto temp. current asking price 5K neg. still orig tires, and not driven much last 20 yrs, but started & run. 440. About 8 hrs from me and having inspected today. What is a fair price? and what in ya'lls opinion would it take to make it roadworthy again?

Oh my, if it still runs and stops and I was looking for one similar I'd be on my way with the 5K in hand.
No rust under the vinyl or in the rear quarters I would say $5k easy.

No ATC is a huge bonus in my eyes. You cannot fix one up for 5K.

Well guys, now the proud owner of a 78 NYB! Inspection came back w/an average rating but no rust which was my biggest fear. AC doesn't work of course, and it has an active oil leak somewhere, but 4800 bought it and I am stoked. I've used several auto shippers in the past but not overly inspired by any of them, and this one is in the middle of nowhereland. I requested a quote and got inundated. Such a crap shoot. Anyone have a preferred shipper? I'll send pics when Morticia gets here.
