Just getting back to work on my 1965 Imperial LeBaron which I bought when it was still relatively new back in 1972. It was eventually parked untouched for over three decades so needs much to get it going and presentable again.

Hello from Minnesota. Sounds like a fun project, feel free to post some pics of the car.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Actually I live in San José, California but my shop and cars are now in Central Oregon (high desert at nearly 3,000' altitude and very dry) where I am currently for a couple weeks doing a major rearrangement of cars. Since the Imperial needs more major engine work than expected, I'm putting the car itself aside temporarily but had a rolling dolly made for the engine so that I can work on it too while the rest of the car is not in the shop area.

Yes, I have Packards too and also a 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special. I'm down to "only" eight vintage cars after having 22 at one point! My 1965 Imperial LeBaron was and is a California titled car and it was in California that it was stored for all those decades, not even including the decade it's been here in the new shop. My Packard / IMPERIAL page which has been online since the later 1990s does have quite a few photos and albums of Imperials including some of my own and there are also lots of Imperial parts in the Classified Ads. Anyway, I will post some photos once I get back home as I have very limited access here, being virtually off the grid.

Thank you all again!

Thank you for that! I don't promote the site much so the kudos are good to hear. I have new, more modern programming nearly ready to upload but kept the same dated design since it works. One thing I want to do is to allow visitors to select either Packard or Imperial (or both as it is) at the start so that it isn't necessary to have a make of no interest in the way. The infrastructure is there so just needs the programming.
