Thanks!! My very first car was a '68 Polara which I purchased for $225 in 1979 when I was 15 years old. Unfortunately, an impaired driver totaled it for me in 1982 shortly after I finished "restoring" it. I had several other C Bodies after that first one including a couple of Monaco's, two Fury's, and a Newport, but I haven't owned one since 1985. I finally picked up another 1968 Polara in South Carolina and am really looking forward to driving it. It's gonna need a bit of work to get it road worthy, but it's already been fun just remembering back to when I built my first one.
