thanks guys ,didn't realize that was public ,we have bought a 72 new Yorker ,bit of a work in progress ,still loads to do ,but having great fun in it ,shes a cool car and drive superb ,I'm used to early A bodys ,so driving this is like driving a luxury car ,which it is of course ,even with the worn out interior, old paint ,no electric seats or windows ,lack of heating ,,,the list goes on ,but its on the road ,triple white ,with buckets ,440

Thanks guys,fixed the heater yesterday,hoses had been cut and looped on the mtr,I quess a heater in texas is not a necessity,but in england at the moment it a.must,all the vac gates work fine too

I bet those heater hoses were looped because the heater core is shot.

Core is fine ,more like they didnt bother to change them ,as the original spring clips are a real pig to get off and hidden down under the cover on the bulkhead,I have the correct tool for the job,but still a pain
