Well I finally sealed the deal on purchasing my ne 69 Sport Fury convertible, now I am in the process of hiring a shipping company to transport the car from Michigan to Massachusetts. I would like to give a huge :sSig_thanks: "THANKS":sSig_thanks: to Matt !!!! (detmatt) for all of his help and expertise in helping me make my final decision about this car, :yourock:........................ I would & could not have done it without you due to my current personal situation. I have posted a few pictures of the car and will add more when the car gets here to it's new and final home. :3gears: 1969 Sport Fury fender tag.jpgPART_1380912724739.jpgPART_1380912614439.jpg

Hi,

no, not the last but one of the first !
My 69 Sport Fury CV which is a factory show car was built 14th july 68 while they really still produced 68 models.

AWhhhh.... yes. I miscalculated the month. Built as a pilot or show car. Love to see the build sheets on both cars.

Thanks, this seems to be a very nice car although I personally have never seen it in person. It appears to be a numbers matching car and does need some work (what car doesn't ) I can not wait to get it home and check it all out.

Hi,

no, the blue ones were sales bank cars. Thats why they have the Y16 code on the tag. They were not Promo or pilot cars.
They would have been delivered in the second week of september to various dealers

Here is the tag of my show car/pilot car:
