I would like to install power windows in my 67 newport fast top. What parts Do I need to buy and what years/models will interchange?

I'm fine to make my own harness as I would like relays anyway.
Is it simply motors and switches or are the regulators different?
Will 4dr parts work?
I'm not concerned with having exactly 67 parts since I have to replace my entire interior any way...

I suspect that '67-'68 "23" model items will work, but the 2dr regulators from '65-'66 might work for the front doors. Some aftermarket universal kits do exist in the street rod realm of things, which might be easier to make happen, all things considered. Other than basic wiring, of which there can be SEVERAL harnesses, you'll need the front door-to-cowl harness protectors, too. It all goes through the switched electrical supply harness (i.e., ignition switched). Seeking to use relays could well explode the number of wires you'll need!

Look for New Yorkers!

I’ve got several sets of door regulators out of ‘67 Imperials along with mounting brackets for the motors themselves. New motors are available. I think the only quarter window regulators I have are from the previous generation but I’ll check.

Matt I'm in need of a driver side, rear regulator and slides/sliders. The roller carriages exploded on mine. P O really did a hack job on them.

I’ll check for the rear regulators but I’m sure I don’t have any roller assemblies available.

From my days of when I had a street rod there was a company that would take your factory non power window regulators and convert them to power. I cant recall their name I will look through my records. They were always at the bigger national events showcasing their work maybe someone else on here can help with their name.

I looked through all the old business cards I have collected over the past 25 yrs could not find the name of the company I was thinking of that did the conversions of crank window regulators to power maybe they advertised in Street Rodder Magazine or one of the other publications dedicated to Street Rods. from what I remember the specialized in cars from the 40's thru 70's.
