What's it out of?

When cleaning out the trunk of a future project the other day, (Thanks to MR Fixit), I came across this horn ring that I don't know origin. Who knows where it came from?

1968 Newport, maybe?

It is not for 68 horn buttons were padded for the federal safety regulations.
IIRC;
The one shown in the pic would be for 66 Plymouth and/or Dodge B and C body mid trim level Polara,Fury II,Coronet 440 ,Belvedere II just to name a few. Some 67 Newports came with it as well.

High trim levels had full horn rings,and low line trim levels had NO horn rings
