I'm sure this has been discussed hundreds of times im mainly a b body guy, I've owned a few c body's in my day but kept them all stock, so what is the widest tire you guys have squeezed into a rear wheel well on a 68 c coupe on a 15 inch rim with a slightly raised rear

Right now I'm running 255/60R15's all the way around. There is more than enough room in the back and they turn lock to lock without issue up front. Is that a 68 NYer in your profile pic?

yep i bought it down in GA a while back and dressed it up like a GA sheriffs car it was a big hit at all the cruise inns I always got a lot more attention then the high dollar cars which always made their owners mad, I just picked up a 68 newport coupe today, I don't even have pics yet

It depends on the backspace. With 4.5" backspace on a 8" rim you should be able to squeeze in a 275/60 r15. The best looking combo in my opinion.
