Doesn't show where it is in the shop manual. It is not in the same place as in my 1972 Newport.

By the way, will those new electronic flasher modules work with both incandescent and LED bulbs? I would like to switch out to LED as the bulbs burn out.

In my experience, no. I think ALL the lights, including the dash and fender signal lights (i equipped) have to be LED to work. I've done outside lights with LEDs, but left the dash incandescent bulbs in place. The electronics didn't work and I used the conventional flasher.

There are some guys that have switched everything and I think they went to an electronic flasher with a ground wire to get the LEDs to flash.

I converted my rear tail lights, reverse lights, front directional, and cornering lights on my '68 300 with LED bulbs from Alla Lighting. It has built in resistors and there is no hyperflash. Just plug them in like any other bulb and you don't have to crawl under the dash in the "space shuttle position" trying to find your stock flasher. Not cheap compared to what you can get on Amazon or anywhere else but these are very well built made of aluminum. Very bright lights. When I back out of the garage at night with the pair of white lights in those big round reverse light lenses on the 300 it really bright up behind you.

Use the chat feature and someone can help you what bulbs you need or you can call their customer support.

Don't think you understand. The new bulbs don't need an external flasher? How does the bulb know when you need the break light and when you need the bulb to flash for the turn signal? The problem is my current bulbs are good, but just do not flash because of a broken turn signal flasher.

Think you are saying that these bulbs are compatible with existing FUNCTIONING turn signal modules because of the resistor.

Their drop down menu includes no MOPARS except Jeeps.

And I still cannot seem to find where under the dash the flasher is!

my 66 has it under the dash by the ashtray if this helps.
Thanks. I will look there. With factory A/C there is so much junk under the dash it is hard to find things. Wanted to take the clock, radio, and heat/A/C control out for rebuilding, but I am not willing to tackle that. Do need the turn signal, however. How strange that in the factory manual it never says where the blinker is located!

My 65 Sport Fury also has the flasher mounted near the ash tray. The best way to locate it, (if it works) is to turn it on and locate it from the clicks.
By the way, you will need an electronic flasher for the leds since they do not use enough amperage to activate to old flasher.

Yeah, but it does not work, so I cannot locate it by sound. I can remove the ash tray. That will provide a portal up under the dash. Guess I will go with an electronic blinker. That way I can go with LEDs or incandescent bulbs.

Mine is actually connected to the ash tray housing.
