Regrettably, I JUST had to cancel my reservation at the Days Inn (Carlisle South) for this weekend, as I probably will NOT be able to attend the Chrysler Nationals An immediate family (dad) member had an operation yesterday (routine, nothing frightening), and is going to be discharged right about when I'd be leaving, and the usual post-op/therapy will likely tie me up too much to make this one.

Anyhow, this hotel is RIGHT off of I-81, and is 3-miles from fairgrounds. Real easy ride to the car show. Not a bargain this time of year, but NONE of them are bargains this time of year, and THIS one has a real convenient location. I stayed here last year, rooms were decent, clean, there's a good diner you can walk to, and the place was full of friendly MOPAR people. I recall seeing several C-bodies there last year in the parking lot.

My room was a single, and is now available. If you call soon, you can probably grab the room, their phone number is: (717) 258-4147, here's the obligatory link:

Thought I'd post this for anyone who didn't get one sooner, or if you have something, but far away, there's time to cancel there and re-book here.

Hope this helps for someone who otherwise might not be able to go.

Sorry to hear about your situation, but thank you, I jumped on this. We couldn't find anything in the area and had to book two different hotels for the two nights. I didn't like the thought of checking out before the show on Saturday morning, and then moving to a place further away to crash Saturday night. FWIW, there were two rooms available when I clicked the link. Thanks again!

THANKS all - it was some long-in-the-works minor back surgery. He's faring quite well for a spry 80-year old, but may still need some assistance this weekend......... hope everyone has fun at Carlisle.
