Whoops.....

Believe it or not but I was told that when your trailer starts whipping like in the video you have to accelerate to straighten it out then slowly slow down after it's straight. I don't know if there is any truth to it though

It's true.

As it was once explained to me when I was very young... "you either drag it out or pull it out" if you get into a sway problem.

Push the gas down and hit the trailer brake controller and it will straighten out.

If I might add one more thing to whats been said. You don't send ah boy to do ah manz job. Meaning: S-10s and Dakotas were designed and built to make weekend trips to Home Depot, Or maybe haul your Cub Cadet to the mower shop for a spring tune up! Not haul ah tin box down an interstate that weighs more then they do. Best license plate holder I've ever seen = YES THIS IS MY PICKUP, AND NO I WILL NOT HELP YOU MOVE. Jer

The passing truck seem to be of correct capacities for the trailer he's towing. You can see that the trailer begin to swing just after passing the camera truck. Maybe there is NO anti-sway system.

The problem is the speed difference, creating wind disturbance between the two vehicules. Been on the road for décades on the truck right lane, I withness this phenomen dozen of times.
