8 Ball: Call pocket
9 Ball: Slop counts
10 Ball: Call pocket
1 Pocket: Slop counts
14.1: Call pocket
Bank Pool: Call pocket
Rotation: Slop counts
American Rotation: Call pocket

Which is why I dont like 9, too much room and slop counts. I grew up around 8 , its as traditional as pinochle .

IMO, rotation games (9B, 10B) are more difficult than 8B. If you get out of line in 8B, you usually have other options available to continue your run. If you get out of line in a rotation game your run is essentially over. At higher levels, the slop in 9B rarely comes into play.

I see what your saying about the 7 rail, it does slow way down.
The 11 rail I am calling BS unless someone has a video somewhere.

i found that so-called 11 rail world record on the internet ... so it must be true.

IMO, rotation games (9B, 10B) are more difficult than 8B. If you get out of line in 8B, you usually have other options available to continue your run. If you get out of line in a rotation game your run is essentially over. At higher levels, the slop in 9B rarely comes into play.

True .... but at higher levels are they ever "out of line" in 8 or 9? I don't believe often . .
