It is HIGHLY recommended you acquire a Factory Service Manual. There are detailed instructions for glass and regulator installation. It will be an invaluable tool during the course of reassembling the car. They can usually be found on eBay.

And hey, got a place has those two piece front of window clips. 36 bucks apiece if you need em. Or I can fab em for ya for free out of teflon. I needed all 4 and didn't win the lottery just yet. Mine are white though but they'll last way longer and windows go up n down smooth as silk

its a two door. thanks for the answers. im going to try to find a service manual. i found a chiltons but it didnt have anything about the windows.

ive got the mechanisms working . my main issue is the door glass theres a "track" at the rear of the door .....inside the door. looks like a "c" channel about one inch wide looks like the window should ride in the channel but i think something is missing like rubber lining or felt ????

Felt. Restoration Specialties sells a material in bulk that will work. That's what I used for mine.

They're called H channels Fury Girl. several sources to be found. Pull up JCWhitney on your 'puter. You need one of their catalogs for cars. NOT THE CATALOG FOR PICKUPS AND SUVs! When you get the catalog, measure the width and length of your metal channels and check out their pages on rubber fuzzys that fit your channel. your glass is roughly 3/16th thick. when you get your new H channels go to your local auto parts store and find their supply of 3M glue. Black, yellow, or clear, any color will do for 'bout $8 or $10 a tube and theirs more in the tube then you'll need. OH YEAH, IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY OWN A BOX OF 100 THROW AWAY RUBBER GLOVES, NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO INVEST IN A BOX. You won't like trying to remove that 3M glue from your fingers, Jer

I just got way more channel felt than I'll ever need for mine. Needed like 25in and they sent me 96in. From resto specialties. Nice stuff. The leftovers are yours if you want it no prob. Send you the correct size staple wire if you want too. Rivets are hideous. Lemme know

Nah gotta staple it. Drill out the staple holes, insert wire, hammer n dolly, repeat. Glue never holds that's why Ma Mopar didnt use it.

My old ones were glued in and my replacements have been glued in for years with no issues. No staple holes or rivet holes in sight.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Lets see some pics of that Fury, girl!

Factory Service Manual, Factory! Factory! Factory! Factory! Factory! Factory! Factory!

Chiltons and the like just do not cover it, maybe to do a tuneup but a restoration?

You buy the car you buy the book! Most are reprinted and available one ebay and other sources.
Why people spend thousands on a car but will not spen $50 for a book?

Yes sir. The FSM saved my *** a bunch of times during reassembly. It's the most valuable tool in the tool box.

Hard copy is easier to maneuver in the shop.

True and I prefer it myself.... But!! I print out the pages I need, highight/underline/circle anything I want and get the pages dirty and greasy in the garage. Then they hit the trash can.

Yeah looks like I spoke too soon. Just my driver's door channel was stapled. The other 3 are glued. My face is red! Made a new channel to match the driver's door now I just need to find some kinda felt to glue in them all. What a drag.....
