Ok I hate WIW threads but I'm going to do it anyway. My buddy has two 300 Hurst cars that he wants to sell. They are both complete and a little rough but definatly restorable. The bodies are pretty solid but the cars did come from back east somewhere. One has had some previous rust repair. I haven't seen inside the trunks so assume they need work.
Here's some pictures from a couple of years ago. I can't remember which pictures are which car but one has more options like cornering lights. They both have good titles. What do you guys think?

Being complete...... and remember I am not the cheap one....$3,500. - $ 4,500.

Thats with these photos under these conditions and being complete with what I cant see

Each or for both??? They kind of look the same to me...:poke:

Looks like wrong air cleaner on the top engine pic. I would say $6K for the pair and you will be WAY upside down getting them done versus buying one of the million done hurst 300's out there as you can get them for mid to low teens and there is no way you can get these on the road for that. IMHO

The sun is shining on the left snorkel so you don,t see it on the first engine picture......

Many survivors out there, thoroughly restored ones are very rare, just like the other C-bodies. I think only one was ever discussed here and considered overprized, as usual.

A few well preserved survivors and lots of medicore or sloppy done examples out there.

Yes , your right!!!!
Thought he means the single snorkel.

If I remember right one has the correct air cleaner and one has the 69 style. He has been offered $7500 for the pair and he's considering it but thinks he can do at least a little better.

We all think we can do better on what we have, gotta find the guy who wants it. By that time the offer may be gone, $7,500 is right where I would think it would be... Good luck to him

difficult cars.
Europeans probably won't jump onto them as they need to much work to get back on the road.
7.500$ is not bad, he might get a little more but it also depends if they run

The engine pics (of the car with the 440 Magnum pie tin) shows that at least that car has had an engine transplant...the exhaust manifolds on that engine are wrong as well (low-perf logs)...lop another grand off that one. The Fibre glass looks just terrible on the one car...

I'd say @ $2000 grand per car IF the metal is VERY good.

Go on take the money and run.
