The '58 - '64 GM cars have an "X"-frame, where most other US-built cars had a perimeter frame, or a unit body construction. This example of "survivability" is BS. All it shows is that these particular cars are susceptable to the damage you see, inflicted by an entity that has a vested interest in the outcome.

The proper term is "crumple zones", BTW. "Wrinkle zones" are on your face when you get older.

Besides, this vid has been on the interwebz for several years. Nothing new.
