Well, I've been looking for quite some time, and I actually just came into a decent amount of money (at least enough for a 74 C-Body IMO). So basically, I'm looking for a '74 Monaco. Doesn't matter if it's a 2 door 4 door hardtop or sedan. As long as the front clip is in good condition I'm interested. If it has a big block sub frame, that's even better. Any help or leads are appreciated!

So........................? Your looking for a parts car? Something to drive, restore? Or Derby?

Commando, It is for a Bluesmobile. I know we've been over this before and that it's frowned upon. I look at it as at least saving a C-Body from the demo guys or the crusher. I have no problem selling/trading parts once I'm finished. I have a good 75 Royal to start with, I just need the 74 front end. Again, any help would be appreciated...
And Monaco75, I'm LegendaryAcura on cardomain who lef thtat message under his. I have not gotten any response from him and have no other way of contacting him than through that site.

Yeah, when I came back to check to see any responses and saw the bluesmobile thread above it I got a good laugh. I do have to say, my feelings are pretty much the same as Monaco75's. The plain and simple fact of the matter is we're saving these cars from derbies and crushers, and we're really not destroying them. They look run down but no one goes out of their way to intentionally throw rust on a clean body or anyhting of the like. Some poeple like their cars stock looking, some like 22 inch rims, some like bluesmobiles. I don't know about people here, but the general feel says a Bluesmobile is better than a candy orange C-Body on 26's or one smashed to pieces in a derby... Lesser of mulitple evils I guess. Also as Monaco75 mentioned, on this board and the dock, there aren't many people jumping at the opportunity for a 74-77 Formal, why not let the poeple who actually want to take care of them have them?

Only the Bevelry Hills PD would have a 74-78 Formal NY'er Bluesmobile.

I have to admit that any C-Body with 22's irritate me. Someone turning Monaco's into Bluesmobiles doesn't bother me at all. Even the derby guys don't bother me if C-Body is one step from the crusher and they do try to sell off parts not needed for the derby. And like Stan said, no one jumping at 74-78 Formals means more available to me.
