You are preaching to the choir, sir.
Manual a/c or ATC II? Cold?
As soon as I wrote that I paused to consider who is in this group and their vehicles. No disrespect intended, just a point of reference. I figure from the firewall back it took me 200 hours of degreasing and prep/paint , on a very original undercarriage to get those seven coats of paint on. It’s either three coats primer or four, then the rest top coat color, white, same as the exterior. If I caused any upset, I apologize.
And the A/C is inoperative, and incomplete.

nice one.

"A38" car? second spot in VIN not "K"?

reason i ask is because vinyl roof trim brightwork and hood ornament.

While we're at it, better come up with the complete fender tag.

OK, the engine has been swapped for a rebuilt 440 and many things have been changed for the better according to the ad, but it still would be nice to know about the humbler beginnings of this car.

Can’t explain the vinyl roof trim. Before my time. I did replace the header panel with one from another Fury, which accounts for the emblem there. Here’s a photo for you.
PK41M for those whose screens(?) don’t show this very well.
My one theory, and others feel free to chime in; is that the extra brightwork trim is from the two tone paint scheme “green and white” that the car came in originally. If that helps.
