440 Rear-Wheel HP Numbers Seem Off 30-40%

A compression test is being suggested I believe, not a cylinder leak down test. Pull all plugs, hold throttle open and crank for 5 or 6 bumps on the gauge. Common would be 120~130psi.

I'd be pissed if it only cranked 120-130 on a fresh build. My short block has been together since '05, before I pulled my heads, I had 200 psi cranking pressure...and that's with a heck of alot more cam, MP557.

Just for comparison's sake... my 906 headed 440 with a 507 MP cam built in the 90s cranks 175-185 psi

Yes correct, I was referencing a stock low compression 440, which is wrong. I did not see a deck height stated.
Your CR plays a large part in your cranking compression, stock low compression will be a lot less than 10-10.5 CR motor
