Another,AnotherAnother,Another 1961 FURY

I’m going to part it out.
It’s worse than it looks damage wise at firewall and door hinge area.
It is also hit on passenger side as well.
If it were a coupe it might be worth fixing, but as 4dr it would not be worth effort.
Has many much needed parts for
my 61 projects

This 61 has only 76K miles.
Last driven 1974.
Tow yard guy pulled the $1000 or I’m going to have it crushed…
SUPER rusty for California.
Sitting abandoned in forest since 74.
Although mostly covered in moss some things were preserved by forest.
A very rare nice soft dash pad….
A excellent nearly complete set of side trim……..very hard to find
The front seat is even good
A complete set of well preserved
flawless solex tinted glass.
A nice Fury trunk mounding.
A rare low miles power brake pedal.
Brakes were frozen had to bring drum puller to remove stuck brakes.
There was a live mad scorpion in drum.
Although a big pile of rust I got some premium parts from it.
I had to remove most of the chrome to keep it from falling off going down the road.

SGT Fury, Re the RCA Record player. How did you get it to play with the Mopar radio? I bought a 1964 Chrysler 300 convertible, all original, but he had “upgraded” the RCA record player to an 8track tape. I had the record player refurbished but can’t figure out how to feed it through the AM Mopar radio, #348.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Chuck

The HI FI radio in a 61 Plymouth has a special plug for RCA player.
I don’t believe a 64 Chrysler radio has that plug?
It wasn’t a option on 64 Chrysler.
Perhaps JC auto in Washington can help. They rebuild radios and RCA players.
