Fresh air vent question

Good afternoon!
I have a 67 Polara Wagon and the driver side fresh air vent is open and it appears the cable is broken. Is the vent in the drivers kick panel? The driver side panel doesn’t look like the passenger side. The passenger panel has a visible air vent and operates normally. I see no visible vent on the drivers side. Any help would be appreciated. It’s letting hot air in!!!!
