More work got done today. I took off the add-on temp gauge from the dash ash receiver. Luckily the interior hasn´t caught cigarette smell despite that someone has been smoking inside. The c-pillar pillows are actually easy to reinstall after detaching the inside panel.

How do you explain the black vinyl?

These will look even better after I add same black paint.
I can live with the rough circumferences (read: trough the next season) because the car isn´t a concours Chebbie.
Three are repainted and almost rebuilt, one to go. I need to craft the steel tabs to hold the ``IMPERIAL IMPERIAL`` rings where they should be even after a cruise.

Today I was fiddling with the weather strip (reattaching) and painted some areas in the trunk. Dad was sanding the rear quarters, but I forgot to take any pics.
I guess that there´s been a mirror on the right sun visor because there was two strips of two-sided tape on it.

Today I sanded the C pillars slightly, so contact glue could adhere better when it´s time to reinstall the vinyl. Friend Jari was there at the same time and the credit for repairing the chronometer goes to him.

Formals have appeal, but it´s hidden to the dash. I tried to take the gauge cluster out of the way to get the original radio rewired, but I gave up. Then we gave a try to install the antenna wire under the dash, which was successful.

Is that round mirror really original? it is located to the uppermost part of the dash panel and left of the steering column.
